connects Golconda fort to Charminar and was built for an escape route for
rulers in case of siege.
Golkonda fort
Golkonda fort which means Round shaped hill
and built by the Kakatiya dynasty as part of their western defences. According
to the history, world famous Diamond Kohinoor, Daria-i-Noor, and Hope diamonds
were in this fort during the Qutb Shahi dynasty. The Golkonda fort is listed as
an archaeological treasure by the Archaeological Survey of India.
Hussain Sagar Lake & Buddha Statue
Hussain Sagar is one of the most popular
hangouts in Hyderabad with beautiful and enormous 18 m Budha statue which is
